Hey there — welcome to my little corner of the internet.
I’ve thought about starting this blog for a while, and today, I’m finally hitting publish. If you’re here, thank you. I’m excited (and a bit nervous) to begin sharing a big part of my life with you — the beautiful, messy, ever-evolving journey of being a father to two amazing girls.
This blog isn’t about having it all figured out — because, truthfully, I don’t. But it is about being real: the joys, the challenges, the lessons, and the funny moments that come with raising kids, building a career, and somehow still squeezing in time for adventure.
What You Can Expect Here
I’ll be sharing a mix of personal stories, hard-earned tips, and reflections on fatherhood — the kind of stuff that’s honest, sometimes chaotic, and (hopefully) relatable whether you’re a fellow dad, a working parent, or someone who just loves seeing families grow and navigate life together.
Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:
- Fatherhood Stories: The highs, lows, and hilarious moments of raising two spirited girls. From bedtime negotiations to deep conversations I never expected from a five-year-old, this space is where I’ll unpack what it’s really like to be a girl dad in today’s world.
- Balancing Work and Family: I work full-time — and like many parents, I’m learning how to juggle meetings and milestones, deadlines and dinner time. I’ll share how I try to stay present at home while still growing in my career.
- Travel as a Family: One of our biggest joys is traveling together. Whether it’s a weekend road trip or an overseas family adventure, I’ll be writing about how we make travel work with kids — the packing hacks, the mishaps, and the memories that make it all worth it.
- Practical Tips: From morning routines to managing screen time, from working remotely with toddlers to carving out “me” time, I’ll share what’s worked for us (and what hasn’t).
Why This Blog?
Fatherhood changed me — in all the best ways. But it also challenged me. There aren’t a ton of spaces where dads openly talk about the real stuff — the uncertainty, the guilt, the unexpected beauty of watching your kids become themselves.
I wanted to create that space. A place to connect, reflect, and maybe even inspire someone else who’s walking a similar path. Not as an expert, but as someone who’s in it, just like you.
So, whether you’re a parent, a traveler, a working professional, or just curious about this ride called family life — I’m glad you’re here. Let’s learn from each other, laugh a little, and keep showing up for the people who matter most.
Until next time — thanks for reading.
