As the year ends, I find myself slowing down. Looking back. Thinking about how far life has taken us. This year was not perfect. Some days were heavy. Some days were joyful. Most days were simply about showing up for family and doing our best.
DadBuhay started as a small space to share real experiences. Life as a dad. Life abroad. Life while building a family far from home. I never expected so many people to read, relate, and come back. Every visit, every message, every share meant something to me.
This year taught me gratitude. Gratitude for good health. Gratitude for work that supports our family. Gratitude for quiet moments at home. Gratitude for readers who took time out of their busy lives to read my stories.
Some of you are parents. Some are planning to become one. Some are simply navigating life abroad. Wherever you are, thank you for being part of this journey. Your presence made this space feel less like a blog and more like a community.
The new year brings hope. Hope for growth. Hope for stability. Hope for more meaningful moments with our kids. I look forward to sharing more stories about parenting, family life in the UK, and the everyday lessons we learn along the way.
As we step into the new year, my wish is simple. Good health for our families. Peace at home. Enough strength to face challenges. And the chance to be a blessing to others, just as we have been blessed.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for trusting DadBuhay. Thank you for being here.
Happy New Year to you and your family.
– Until then, love you bye! And that’s #Dadbuhay.
